Learn and Have Fun — It’s Your Hokuriku Shinkansen
Train Park Hakusan is an interactive facility adjacent to the Hakusan General Rolling Stock Yard, the Hokuriku Shinkansen Line train depot.
With a range of exhibits to explore railroad history and technology, driving simulators and an observation deck to get up close with the Shinkansen, this facility is exciting for both children and adults—not to mention rail fans.

Shinkansen Learning & Interactive Area
The Shinkansen Learning & Interactive Area, features exhibits of various components used on the Hokuriku Shinkansen. A large train simulator allows visitors to discover the latest Shinkansen technology, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the wonder of the Hokuriku Shinkansen.

Tourist Information & Souvenir Area
The Tourist Information & Souvenir Area provides tourist information on the four nearby municipalities (Hakusan City, Nomi City, Nonoichi City, and Kawakita Town), and has a range of local specialties and unique facility accessories available for sale.

Children’s Play Area
Expansive multi-level playground equipment designed with a Mount Hakusan theme. Features train tracks sprawled out on the floor taking visitors on a wonderful storybook journey, and digital entertainment where visions of sea creatures change the way they swim around on the walls as guests move around.

Shinkansen Observation Area
The Shinkansen Observation Area gives visitors the chance to observe the inspection and maintenance processes of Shinkansen trains at the Hakusan General Rolling Stock Yard. Discover a whole new world that is usually hidden away from view.

Rooftop Observation Deck Area
In the observation deck area, visitors can see the Shinkansen trains running up close, and there are numerous photo spots that are sure to be a hit on social networking sites.
